Golden obsidian is a powerful protection stone, but its most valuable gift is another: it is a mirror. It shows where the ego has inflated, where we tell ourselves stories to avoid facing something, where there is an excess that weighs without us noticing. It doesn't do this to punish, but to liberate: you can only release what you first see. It is the stone of those ready for an honest emotional and mental healing.
The silver-grey polymer clay, modelled and textured by hand piece by piece, evokes a fragment of ancient forest: roots, bark, the matter that sustains life in silence. The forest motifs surrounding the stone recall that all healing is also a return to the essential, to what we are when we let go of what is excess. Each Forest Jewel is worked individually, which makes its shape unrepeatable.
Wearing it over the chest is accepting the invitation to look at yourself honestly. Golden obsidian works best in processes of introspection, therapy or personal work, when one is willing to see what one usually prefers to avoid. It is not a comfortable stone: it is a transformative one. It accompanies those who have decided they prefer the uncomfortable truth to the comfortable lie.
For people in processes of personal growth, therapy or deep transformation who are willing to look within with courage. For those who feel they carry an excess —of pride, of masks, of old stories— and want to release it. A very meaningful gift for someone with the maturity to want to see themselves as they are in order to heal.
Each Forest Jewel is unique and unrepeatable. The artisan modelling of the clay and the natural sheen of the Golden Obsidian guarantee that no two pieces are exactly alike. Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly.
