From Nature to Your Hands. My Creative Process
Each of my products begins with the fruit trees I personally prune during winter. I carefully select the branches that are then transformed into Viking rune art. Through artisanal pyrography techniques, I etch ancient symbols like the vegvísir and runes, imbuing each piece with the energy of ancestral magic.
This process not only results in a visually appealing object but also conveys the connection between nature, magic, and Viking beliefs. Each piece is created with intention so that, in addition to being an accessory, it carries the spiritual strength of ancient times.

What wood are the Runic Art pieces made from?
Gemma Anjana's Runic Art pieces are crafted from fruit tree branches — olive, cherry, almond, laurel and loquat — personally collected during winter pruning in Paracuellos de la Ribera, Aragon. Each branch is hand-selected, respecting the environment.
Do you ship to other countries?
Yes, Runic Art ships worldwide. Gemma Anjana's pieces have already reached the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Italy and Turkey, among other countries.
Are the pieces unique or are there several identical ones?
Each Runic Art piece is unique and unrepeatable. Being handcrafted from natural branches and engraved using artisanal pyrography, no two pieces are exactly alike. When you acquire a piece, you receive an exclusive creation.
What is the vegvísir?
The vegvísir is a Nordic magical symbol known as the Viking compass. According to Icelandic tradition, whoever carries the vegvísir will never get lost in storms or bad weather, even if they do not know the way. It is one of the most used symbols in Runic Art handcrafted creations.
